Snug in a valley between the Teton and Gros Ventre mountain ranges, the town of Jackson Hole was historically a hunting ground and later used for cattle ranching. Town Square, famed for its elk-antler arches and stagecoach rides, offers an Old West feel and a thriving arts and cultural scene. The town's proximity to the National Elk Refuge, Bridger Teton National Forest, as well as Grant Teton and Yellowstone National Parks makes it an ideal base for outdoor activities and communing with nature. Depending on the season, one can ski, snowboard, raft, hike, paraglide, and so much more. Perhaps the largest draw for the region is the natural beauty of the parks and the diverse wildlife.
