Welcome to Jordan! Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by our local representative who will assist with the customs and immigrations process. You will then be transferred directly to your hotel for check-in.

As Middle Eastern cities go, Amman is a relative youth, being mostly a creation of the 20th century. But though it lacks the storied history and thrilling architectural tapestry of other regional capitals, there’s plenty here to encourage you to linger awhile before making for Petra, the Dead Sea or Wadi Rum. In fact, Amman is one of the easiest cities in which to enjoy the Middle East experience.

Day 2: Amman

Tour of Jerash, Ajloun, & Bei Sitty Cooking Class

After breakfast, you will enjoy a full day excursion to discover Jordan's green north. The tour begins with a visit to Jerash, an archeological site regarded as one of the most important, most significant, and best-preserved sites of Roman architecture in the Middle East. After your visit you'll continue on to Ajloun. From the distance, you can spot the castle, dominating the town’s skyline. Once built to ward off the Crusader armies at the key trade and pilgrimage intersection between Jerusalem, Cairo, Damascus and Mecca. Afterward, you will return back to Amman. This evening, you will learn how to prepare a traditional Arabic meal with the help of a Hajjeh, at Beit Sitty Restaurant!

Day 3: Amman - Dead Sea

Citadel, Roman Theater, Al Salt, & Hashem

After breakfast, get ready to explore the Citadel and the Roman Theater, two of the most famous archeological sites in the city. Next, visit the Al Salt and take the Harmony Trail, to enjoy lunch with a local family. After lunch, head back to downtown Amman for a walking tour. Your tour includes a visit to the Hashem Restaurant, where you'll have the opportunity to try their incredible falafel and hummus. This simple restaurant is considered country's most famous eatery. Previous diners include two kings, along with a long list of national and international celebrities.

After your day of touring you'll be driven to your Dead Sea accommodations. Check-in and enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure (drive duration: approximately 1 hour).

Day 4: Dead Sea - Petra

This afternoon you'll be driven to your accommodations in Wadi Musa, located just outside of the ancient city of Petra (drive duration: approximately 3 hours).

Visiting Petra is a journey through a lost city of ancient history, staggering architecture, and unparalleled charm. Petra is not a trip to rush, it is a place to linger, take a deep breath, and even meditate. 2000 Years back in time is what you will expect in "The Red Rose City "; Carved directly into a vibrant red, white, pink, and sandstone cliff faces. Lost to the Western World from about the 14th century until the early 19th century.

Day 5: Petra - Wadi Rum

Full day Tour of Petra

Explore the magnificent and mysterious rock-carved rose-red city of Petra. You will have a full day to visit this beautiful place, starting with the visitor center. Make your way through Siq, a narrow, high walled, red sandstone canyon, and towards the famous Treasury. Once there, take some time to gaze at the stunning stone-carved building that was created thousands of years ago. Afterward, explore the rest of the Rose Red City and its many caves, tombs, Roman Theater, palaces, and many other places.

Continue your adventure by hiking up to the High Place of Sacrifice or the Monastery. This evening, you will continue to Wadi Rum for your stay in a Bedouin Camp. Get a chance to taste the traditional hospitality and fall asleep under the starry night.

Wadi Rum

Located in the South of Jordan close to Aqaba and Petra this phenomenal desert wilderness with Red and White sand is Unesco World Heritage listed for both cultural and natural importance - 1 of only 27 sites in the world that is listed in this mixed category. Wadi Rum features the striking desert landscape consisting of a range of narrow gorges, natural arches, towering cliffs, ramps, massive landslides and caverns. Petroglyphs, inscriptions and archaeological remains in the site testify to 12,000 years of human occupation and interaction with the natural environment. Wadi Rum has been used as the backdrop to film several movies including: Lawrence of Arabia, Transformers and Prometheus.

Enjoy the crystal waters of the Red Sea and experience the corals dancing to the warmth of the penetrating sun.

Day 7: Aqaba - Amman

Free Day

Spend the day at your leisure! Take some time to explore the downtown markets and streets. You can even maybe visit the fort that once served as an essential base in the Arab revolt against the Ottomans. You can also choose to go to one of the beach resorts to swim, snorkel, or scuba dive. The clear blue waters of the Gulf of Aqaba features world-renowned multi-colored coral reefs, fish, and other wildlife.

After a wonderful time in Aqaba, you will be picked up at your resort and transferred to your accommodations back in Amman. The drive will take around 4hrs.

Day 8: Amman - Jerusalem

Journey to Jerusalem

Early this morning, you will start your adventurous journey to Jerusalem. Start the day by transferring from Amman to King Hussein/ Allenby Bridge. After crossing the border, you will drive along the Dead Sea toward the Masada fortress. The famous King Herod built the fortress as the last stand of the Zealots against the Romans.Set foot back in time as you witness the dramatic remaining settings and excabations. Next, stop at Qumran to see where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Travel along the shores of the Dead Sea to Jericho, known as the oldest inhabited city in the world before going to Jerusalem for the night. (This service is on a private basis.)

Old City Tour

After breakfast, you will start your tour by driving to the Mt. of Olives for a beautiful scenic view over Jerusalem. Follow the Palm Sunday route down the mountain for a visit to the beautiful Garden of Gethsemane. According to tradition, this is the place where Jesus prayed the night before he was crucified. Next, walk to the Old City and stroll through the four quarters (Muslim, Christian, Jewish, and Armenian). Take a glimpse of the most significant landmarks such as the Dome of Rock, Western Wall, and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. You will also have some free time to explore the colorful markets and get a feel for its 4,000 years of Dramatic history.

Day 10: Jerusalem

After a hearty breakfast, you will start a new day by driving north to the Sea of Galilee. Stop in Capernaum, where you can see the once-prosperous fishing village that became the home base of Jesus and his disciples. Continue to Tabaha, famous for being the location where over 500 people were fed. Stop at the Church of the Primacy, where Peter was told by Jesus to continue his work. Finally, drive up to the Mount of Beatitudes, site of the famous Sermon on the Mount. Enjoy the fantastic views over the lake before going to Nazareth. See the village where Jesus grew and the Church of the Annunciation with its stunning decor! Visitors from all over the world come together. After the tour, you will head back to Jerusalem.

Day 11: Jerusalem - Amman

Journey to Amman

After a wonderful time in Jerusalem, check out of your hotel and go to Amman via Bethlehem. Along the way, stop to witness many remarkable and historical places. Cross into the West Bank and visit the Separation Wall before going into the modern city of Bethlehem. Visit the Church of the Nativity, believe to be located in Jesus' birthplace. Afterward, drive to the Sheperd's Field in Beit Sahour, said to be where the angels first announced Jesus' birth. Next, return to Jerusalem, where you can visit the western part of the city. Visit places such as Mahane Yehuda, Yad Vashem (Holocaust Memorial), or the Israel Museum (view the Dead Sea Scrolls). In the late afternoon, you will depart Jerusalem and go to the Border Crossing and immigration. Afterward, you will meet your driver who will take you to your hotel in Amman.

Day 12: Amman Departure
