Beit Sitti Cooking Class

Beit Sitti offers a cook and dine experience where you'll have the opportunity to prepare a traditional Arabic meal using seasonal ingredients with the help of a Hajjeh. Enjoy the delicious food that you prepared, in the owners' grandmothers house found in one of Ammans' oldest neighborhoods, Jabal al Weibdeh.

Amman

As Middle Eastern cities go, Amman is a relative youth, being mostly a creation of the 20th century. But though it lacks the storied history and thrilling architectural tapestry of other regional capitals, there’s plenty here to encourage you to linger awhile before making for Petra, the Dead Sea or Wadi Rum. In fact, Amman is one of the easiest cities in which to enjoy the Middle East experience.

Amman City & Al Salt Highlights Tour

After breakfast, the day begins with a tour of Amman visiting the city highlights including the citadel and the Roman theater. You will then venture outside the city to Al Salt for a 2 hour walking tour. Along the way you'll have the opportunity to pray in the AL-Khader Orthodox church, one of the oldest and holiest shrines in all of Jordan, dating back to 1682 and used by both Muslims and Christians alike. Next, visit the Madafat Al Khalili, a traditional place for family gatherings. Afterward, enjoy the breathtaking view of the city from the English Complex. Observe the magic of the old Islamic City where mosques and churches gather in one place and next to each other. Throughout the day, you will be able to communicate with the local people and try the most delicious local dishes in their home. Savor Jordanian dishes like Maklouba, layers of rice, vegetables, and chicken.
After trying the dishes, walk through Al-Hammam Street, one of the most famous and old streets in the city. This narrow street is home to many different and unique shops on both sides and does not allow cars to pass. Later in the evening, you will return back to Amman for the night. Journey to Jerusalem

Early this morning, you will start your adventurous journey to Jerusalem. Start the day by transferring from Amman to King Hussein/ Allenby Bridge. After crossing the border, you will drive along the Dead Sea toward the Masada fortress. The famous King Herod built the fortress as the last stand of the Zealots against the Romans.Set foot back in time as you witness the dramatic remaining settings and excabations. Next, stop at Qumran to see where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Travel along the shores of the Dead Sea to Jericho, known as the oldest inhabited city in the world before going to Jerusalem for the night. (This service is on a private basis.)

Jerusalem

Jerusalem is totally unique – there is no other place like it. A city of tradition, religion, and history, but also, increasingly, of modern culture and heritage, it is a city with so much to offer that you could spend years here and still not see everything. Long an object of veneration and conflict, the holy city of Jerusalem has been governed, both as a provincial town and a national capital, by an extended series of dynasties and states. In the early 20th century the city, along with all of historic Palestine, became the focus of the competing national aspirations of Zionists and Palestinian Arabs.

Mt. of Olives & Jerusalem City Tour

Start your adventure by visiting Mt. of Olives and witnessing the most beautiful scenic view over Jerusalem. Walk back in time and visit the most important places that Jesus walked through. Follow the Palm Sunday route down the mountain to visit the Garden of Gethsemane. The garden is known as the place where Jesus prayed the night before he was crucified. Next, walk into the Old City through the four quarters (Muslim, Christian, Jewish, and Armenian). View some of the major landmarks such as the Dome of the Rock, Western Wall, and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Before heading back to your hotel, you will have time to stroll through the colorful markets to submerge yourself in over 4,000 years of history!

En-Route to Bethlehem

After checking out of your hotel, you will start a new journey to Bethlehem. Start this new journey by crossing into the West Bank, where you will have a short stop at the Separation Wall. Continue into the modern city of Bethlehem to see the Church of the Nativity, believed the birthplace of Jesus. Next, drive to Shepherd’s Fields in Beit Sahour, where the angels first announced Jesus’ birth according to beliefs. You will then cross back to Jordan and proceed to Wadi Rum for a unique jeep adventure. After the full day adventure, enjoy your night stay under a starry night in the beautiful desert. Bethlehem

Bethlehem is a historical city with a strong religious background. It's paved stone streets, ancient churches, and lively atmosphere will embrace you and show you all the religious beliefs. You will find many diverse religions such as Lutheran, Catholic, Orthodox, and Christian with many followers and pilgrimages. Aside from its religious background, there are many things to do and admire aside! You can enjoy the beautiful Old City and the amazing bazaars located all over the city! Embrace the art and witness the impressive Separation Wall that has been made into a colorful canvas. Discover delicious food, museums, the many chapels, and yourself!

Petra & The Dead Sea

This morning, another journey awaits! Enjoy a full day exploring the magnificently mysterious, rock-carved rose-red city of Petra. The tour will start in the visitor center, where you will learn some basic facts about Petra. From the center, make your way through Siq, a high walled red sandstone canyon. Next, you will come across the famous Treasury, where you will have time to marvel at the beautiful building carved in stone thousands of years ago. Continue exploring the Rose-Red City and discover its may caves, tombs, Roman theatre, and other places/structures. You can also hike up to the High Place of Sacrifice or the Monastery! Dead Sea

The Dead Sea – bordering Israel, the West Bank and Jordan – is a salt lake whose banks are more than 400m below sea level, the lowest point on dry land. Its famously vibrant blue and hypersaline water makes floating easy, and its mineral-rich black mud is used for therapeutic and cosmetic treatments at area resorts. The extreme salinity of the water comes from the high evaporation rate. This salinity makes for an almost intolerable environment most living organisms.

Depending on your flight schedule, you may be able to enjoy the day sunbathing and swimming on the magnificent Dead Sea. You may even want to try a very relaxing and purifying mid bath or spa treatment before your long trip back home!

Although your adventure must come to an end today, you will be leaving with new friends, amazing experiences and memories to cherish for the rest of your life. Once you have checked out of your hotel in the Dead Sea, you will be met by your driver and transferred to the airport in good time to board your international departure flight.
