Wilderness Basecamp

Safari and Canvas Tanzania - Classic

Serengeti, Tanzania

Prices From: $1748 per person

Although Tanzania boasts some of the world’s most beautiful lodges, for a true safari experience nothing can compare to spending the night in a canvas tent close to the wildlife and the beautiful Serengeti night sky. If you love nature and the great outdoors (and we do mean Great!) than the Safari and Canvas itinerary is for you: safari by day, camp by night and truly interact with Tanzania's incredibly unique environment throughout your entire stay.

This budget option includes a drive from Arusha into the Serengeti National Park, not a flight, so that you can explore the Northern Tanzanian landscape on the ground.
