The 3 Day Trek from Imi Ourland to Tizi Oussem is a great building block for a trip to Morocco, and following are a number of optional add-ons that complement the cruise well, but are not included in the price of the trek.
Two Nights at Atlas Kasbah Eco Lodge
Atlas Kasbah Eco Lodge, just east of Agadir on the sunny west coast of Morocco, is a unique lodging experience. A two night stay here includes eco friendly cooking classes, village walk throughs, and stargazing, along with possible day trips along Morocco’s beautiful beach-lined coast.
Sahara Desert Excursion
One of the most famous deserts in the world is also one of the most beautiful, and an excursion would have you exploring it via 4x4 vehicle, camel and on foot for 2-3 days. Included is a night under the stars camping in a bedouin-style tent, away from cities and civilization.
Imperial Cities Tour
Morocco’s cultural heritage is not to be missed. Its imperial cities, (Marrakesh, Fez, Meknes, Casablanca, etc.) are the keepers of that heritage, and a week or more exploring their various medinas, gardens and mosques of Morocco’s greatest cities is an eye opening experience.
Southern Morocco Tour
If activities like hiking, surfing and camel riding call to you, the south of Morocco is your destination. Away from the cultural centers of the northern imperial cities, the south features ample opportunity for play on the beach and exploration along the edges of the Sahara Desert.
