La Casona at Matetic Vineyards

Matetic vineyards is located in the Rosario Valley, conveniently located near Santiago. This completely enclosed valley, which is 9,000 hectares in length and perpendicular to the ocean, features extraordinary light and possesses the ideal climatic and topographic conditions for both red and white wines. The first 90 planted hectares are in all-organic soils and are producing 100 percent natural grapes.

The Guest House (La Casona) is a fully restored colonial house located in a magnificent countryside site surrounded by incredibly beautiful gardens and 22 acres of woods and vineyards.

The vineyards surrounding the guest house are used to produce world class wines which gives guests the chance to participate in various wine-related traditions, including the harvest. Our guests are free to visit our cellars, enjoy tasting sessions, take horse rides to explore the surroundings, and participate in exclusive activities organized during the harvest (February to May).

Pleasant surroundings and the advantage of staying in the outskirts of the city allow you to experience the vineyards, the city of Santiago, as well as the charms of nearby Valparaíso, a World Heritage city.
