Bukit Peninsula

Bali's southern Bukit peninsula, offers rugged coastlines, dramatic beauty, white sand beaches and the famous cliff top Uluwatu Temple. The area is best known for its incredible surfing, but the region also plays host to some of the island's most luxurious coastal properties, offering a romantic getaway for those looking to escape the crowds and enjoy the gorgeous natural scenery.

Following a long day of travels yesterday, today has been left for you to spend at your leisure. Sleep in this morning, and awake to sweeping views of the deep blue ocean before you. Take a dip in the pool, walk down to the famous Padang Padang beach and maybe get a massage!

Surf Lesson

Today at 9:00 AM, you will head out on a Surf Lesson with Ripcurl School of Surf. Catching your first wave is an experience you will never forget, and knowing the correct techniques will have you up on your feet and surfing in no time! Your coaches will assess your ability and show you how to improve, whether it’s catching more waves, perfecting your bottom turn or completing faster cutbacks. From theory in the classroom, to practice on the beach, this syllabus covers everything you will need to make the most of your session and get you stoked! The activity ends around 11:00 AM and you'll be transferred back to your hotel to rest and relax before heading out to Uluwatu Temple later this afternoon. (This service is on a private basis.)

Uluwatu Temple & Kecak Dance Show

At 4:00 PM today, you will be met by your driver to be taken on an exciting visit to Uluwatu. This is an amazing Hindu temple that is perched on the top of a cliff with the deep rocky surf crashing below. The temple offers a breathtaking view of the Indian Ocean and a colorful sunset as the perfect backdrop, if you are there at the right time of day. During this tour, you will even have the chance to enjoy a remarkable performance called the Kecak Dance. This entertaining show will begin, just as the sun goes down the horizon. Surely, to be an experience you will never forget! Around 7:00 PM you'll be driven back to your accommodations to enjoy the remainder of the evening at your leisure. Bukit Peninsula Discovery

Today you'll enjoy a special tour of the highlights and hidden gems of the Bukit area. Meet your private guide at 10:00 AM and driver for a full day trip. Your first stop will be Gunung Payung Beach. Enchanted by the beauty of the green hills that blends with the blue water, from the top of the hill you can see the white sand beaches and crystal clear sea water while feeling the cool air. Next, you will head to Gunung Payung beach which have soft textured white sand, blue sea water graded green. This beach does not have many visitors, so it is perfect to explore without the crowds!

You will then head to the Karma beach beach club for lunch (on own account) and time to relax. Set in Bali’s most stunning cove at Karma Kandara, Karma Beach Bali is a breathtaking tropical oasis. A crescent of white sand leads to a tranquil blue lagoon. After your day of exploration, you will be transferred back to your hotel arriving at around 4:00 PM. (This service is on a private basis.)

Journey to Ubud

After checking out of your hotel in Uluwatu, you will be met by your driver at 10:00 AM for the journey to Ubud, the next stop of your honeymoon adventure. Along the way, you will visit the mysterious Goa Gajah also known as Elephant cave. Make sure you explore the lower part of the river where there are some enigmatic carvings. If you feel energetic ask your guide to take you to the stone murals at Yeh Pulu is a good walk to stretch the legs.

Next, you will head to the peaceful Tirta Empul. This water temple is where local people go to take purifying baths in the cool waters that rush down from the river. The special water, or "Tirta" as said in Balinese, is supposed to have healing properties. If you would like to partake in the purification ritual with the locals as well, make sure to bring a bathing suit and sarong with you in the car. Following this lovely cultural experience, you will be dropped off at your gorgeous resort in Ubud at around 4:00 PM, with the rest of the evening to spend as you wish. Ubud, Bali

Ubud is considered the cultural heartland of Bali, famous for its iconic rice terraces and countless Hindu temples, where painters, mask makers, sculptors, stone and wood carvers, dancers and musicians thrive. Ubud also offers visitors the opportunity to explore Bali's natural beauty serving as a base camp for adventure activities including volcano trekking, river rafting, cycling and canyoneering.

Morning Cultural Walk

Ubud is changing fast and this morning, you will have the opportunity to witness its golden hour of dawn. Beginning from your hotel at 5:30 AM, you will be led on a leisurely stroll through the colorful Ubud market, quiet village lanes, lush fields and green forest. Stop to admire the sky as the morning sun rises and a new beautiful day in Bali begins. Keep your eyes out for the herons taking flight for a truly elegant sight. As the warmth of the sun starts to rise, you will enjoy a small picnic in a local farmer's hut, settled high up in the rice fields. This is the perfect spot from where to sit and soak in the morning ambiance of Bali. The peace, the quite and the unspoiled beauty. Descending through the rice fields, on your way back into the growing "town" of Ubud, your tour will pass by the Monkey Forest. Observe the action of these new furry friends, before your walk finishes with a delightful morning coffee and a relaxing spa treat.

Please keep in mind that although many of the sights you will explore on this walk are stunning and exemplify the beauty of Ubud, this tour will also incorporate the city's rampant development, which can be quite the eye opening experience. Biking Excursion

Today at 8:00 AM, you have another adventurous activity in Bali as you cycle through the heartland, traveling downhill on non-tourist sites, secret back roads and following small secondary roads to experience the typical Balinese daily life and enjoying the beautiful Balinese countryside.

A guide will explain about local plants and the typical life of Balinese residents with regular stops during your adventure. Close to Ubud you can choose to continue on your bike, for another hour through beautiful scenery, or drive in the car to the lunch spot. A delicious Balinese lunch in a small restaurant among the idyllic rice-fields is included. At approximately 1:00 PM, you will be transferred back to your hotel to enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. (This service is on a private basis.)

Mt Batur Sunrise Trekking

Another adventurous day awaits! Wake up extremely early or perhaps just stay up late, to be ready for your hotel pick up around 2:00 AM, just as the day begins. Your guide will greet you in the lobby for the 1.5 hour drive transfer to Kintamani. At the meeting point on the slope of Mt. Batur, you will embark on your unforgettable sunrise trek (1717 m above sea level). Your experienced guide will escort you during the hike, which should last about 1.5 to 2 hours. Take in the views and embrace the adventure on the climb to the mountain peak. At the summit, you will marvel at the breathtaking view of Batur caldera, the surrounding crater and lake, as the glorious sunrise and stunning morning views start to emerge. You can also enjoy the opportunity to hike on the rim around the caldera.

Breakfast will be prepared by cooking eggs in the hot steam that exudes from the holes in the mountain, with some juice, fruit, bread, jam, tea and coffee. A once in a lifetime experience! The journey down the mountain is equally as challenging, but this time you will get to admire the surrounding panorama on the way. Enjoy some time to relax in the natural hot spring pools, before your journey comes to an end. You will be driven back to your hotel in the early afternoon, arriving back at about 1:00 PM. Kintamani & Journey to Karangasem

This morning, you will need to pack up your bags and prepare for the journey to your next destination. You will meet your guide at 9:00 AM to embark up to Kintamani, a cooler small town on the edge of the caldera of Gunung Batur, where you will have spectacular views of the surrounding area. These are the highlands of Bali and there is also a local market and a temple, if you choose to visit. Following your exploration, you will be driven the rest of the way to your private Villa in Karangasem to begin soaking up paradise as soon as possible. (This service is on a private basis.)

Karangasem, East Bali

East Bali is sometimes referred to as the ‘real Bali’ by visitors as it feels like stepping back in time compared to the bustling Southern part of the Island. The district of Karangasem offers incredible scenery including rice fields, sweeping bays and black sand beaches with Mt. Agung in the background.

Now, is the perfect time to really indulge in your honeymoon. Just relax and explore your new surroundings at your leisure. There are surf breaks nearby and surf guides can be arranged by the staff at your villa. A ten-minute drive away is a often deserted white sand beach (Pasir Putih) about a half-mile long with lovely swimming and a few warungs serving fresh seafood and cold drinks right on the sand. There are also plenty of Dive-centers in Amed and Tulamben which offer excursions to the most beautiful coral reefs of Indonesia.

Snorkeling Excursion

You will be picked up from your hotel at 8:30 AM this morning, for an exciting snorkeling adventure about one hour away in Amed. Amed boasts the best snorkeling and diving opportunities in East Bali. Take a dive on the incredible US Liberty Wreck and witness the fantastic array of corals and marine life that have made the 120m structure their home. Alternatively enjoy a calm inspection of one of the area’s vibrant coral reefs and see just how varied the marine life on Bali can be. Macro enthusiasts will love Seraya Secrets and Noisy Reef, where an unusual array of marine life can be found at any time of day. Have fun exploring the wonders of the underwater world. After some time in the water you'll return to the mainland and transfer by car the rest of the way to your villa arriving back around 1:00 PM, where you can spend the afternoon at your leisure.

Enjoy your final day in Bali at your leisure. If you're water logged by now, we recommend going inland to discover the beautiful rice fields and everyday life in Bali. The staff at your hotel will be happy to point out the best spots to hike or bike.

Although it will not be easy, the time has come to say goodbye to Bali. However, you will be leaving with unforgettable memories and the experience of a lifetime!
