Sindabezi Island is a private island paradise nestled in the waters of the Zambezi, upstream of the Victoria Falls. Not only is it is the only African bush camp in the area, but the island is also the only bush camp that can be enjoyed exclusively as a private booking. Here, in the haven of natural tranquillity, you will truly experience the sights and sounds of the African bush. From Sindabezi, the flood plain of the mighty Zambezi and the views of the wildlife in the nearby National Park will capture your soul during Safari holidays.

Your stay at Sindabezi Island begins with either a short boat ride or a guided canoe trip down the Zambezi to the island. Along the way there are lots of opportunities for game viewing, as you pass close to the shores of Zimbabwe where many animals wander from the Zambezi National Park to water at the river's edge. The main camp area is set on the sand and is the perfect place just to relax, unwind and simply enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this tiny island when on Safari holidays. The staff is always on hand to guarantee your every comfort.

At night, the main camp is transformed into a world of yesteryear, with the absence of electricity adding to the romance and charm of this magical island. Five star dining on the sand, under the canopy of stars, with the river meandering past and the unmistakable sounds of hippos wallowing nearby, assure an experience never to be forgotten.

General Information

- All prices are quoted and payable in United States Dollars
- Sindabezi Island will hold provisional bookings for 15 days ONLY
- Provisional bookings for guests arriving within 6 months from the booking date will only be held for 7 days.
- Bookings for arrivals due within 3 months should be confirmed within 48 hours
- Bookings must be confirmed with transfer details.
- Sindabezi Island is happy to take children of fourteen and over. Full rates apply when staying in their own room. Children under the age of fourteen may be accommodated if Sindabezi Island is reserved privately.
- Children under 14 pay 50% unless they are in their own room, then they will pay adult fees.

- A visit to the Victoria Falls on the Zambian Side

Cancellation Policies

- 60 days or more before arrival, 25% fee
- between 30 and 60 days before arrival, 50% fee
- 30 days or less before arrival, 50% fee... and if the guest decides to rebook in next 12 months (must be made in the original booking season) the reservation we will be booked at 50% off
