Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 - Arusha
Meet at the airport/Arusha arrival point and transfer to your lodge for pre-safari briefing.
Overnight: Ahadi Lodge (Dinner included)
Day 2 - Arusha - Esilalei - Crater Highlands
After breakfast, we transfer into the Maasai Heartlands to a village called Esilalei (Toothbrush Tree) located in the wildlife corridor in between Tarangire and Lake Manyara. We enjoy a packed lunch just as we enter the village and are met by the village elders and morani (warriors) singing and dancing to welcome us. Your visit supports the building of their school here. Continue onto permanent camp for overnight.

Day 3 - Crater Highlands - Ngorongoro
Ngorongoro is collapsed volcano - an incredible natural amphitheatre, 25 km across and teeming with all of the African big game. Early morning descent into the crater for spectacular scenery and game viewing in what has been described as the eighth wonder of the world. In late afternoon, we return to the crater rim for a wilderness walk that showcases incredible views of the caldera and into the forest for overnight.

Day 4 - Ngorongoro - Serengeti
Serengeti is calling today – option pass through Olduvai Gorge and a view of the archaeological sites (and visit the museum) where early human tools and fossils have been found. Otherwise, we drive directly to the Serengeti! Game drive in the rolling grasslands. Criss-crossed with forested riverine valleys, the Serengeti plays home to millions of Africa’s large mammals, making this one of the world’s most famous wildlife destinations.
Overnight: Ikoma Safari Camp (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included)
Day 5 - Serengeti
All day game drive in Serengeti. Best time for the wildebeest migration is Dec to June but there are spectacular wildlife sights at anytime of year

Day 6 - Serengeti - Arusha
We enjoy an early morning game drive before transferring to the airstrip for our flight back to Arusha.
Overnight: Onward travel to Zanzibar or Dar es Salaam is possible. (Breakfast and Lunch included)

Ahadi Lodge
Ahadi Lodge is located on the northern side of Arusha in ‘suburbia’. It is considered an oasis amongst a busy world outside the gates. They have a great pool and are known for their excellent hospitality and cuisine.
Losirwa Camp
Losirwa Camp is a permanent camp situated on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Lake Manyara area. There is a swimming pool and lounger area
Rhino Lodge
Rhino Lodge is located within the Ngorongoro Conservation area. It is an old government lodge that has been refurbished by Coastal Aviation. The lodge is simply comfortable with the dining area having two large open fires and the resident wildlife right outside the walls.

The walks within the tribal areas are carried out by our own guides in conjunction with the local, tribal guide – this allows easy translation and interpretation. Many of the areas have an array of plant & bird life so binoculars often assist in exact identification.
