Lake Titikaka, Peru

Prices From: $770

Titilaka is a luxury refuge designed in homage to the ancient Titicaca featuring sumptuous lake view suites, intimate fireside dining, wraparound terraces and a heated outdoor pool in a serene setting surrounded by incomparably blue waters and graced with dramatic dawns and spectacular sunsets.

The all-inclusive Titilaka experience begins at the Juliaca airport where guests are welcomed by a bilingual guide and a driver before traveling by car across the amazing altiplano. Every guest has an activities conceirge with offerings ranging from contemplative to adventuresome including mountain biking, Highlands treks & birdwatching, Taquile, Amantani & Uros Islands excursions, Horseback excursions and local village tours.

At dusk, pause for tea time or a massage before watching the idyllic sunset give way to a velvet-black tapestry sprinkled with endless brilliant stars. Your intimate fireside dinner will be prepared with wholesome regional ingredients: fresh trout from the lake, alpaca meat from the highland plateaus and the famously varied potatoes and grains of Peru.

Titilaka is strategically located on a private peninsula in front of Chucuito peninsula, on Lake Titicaca, Puno. Bounded by scenic Andean landscapes and one of the most exceptional geographic locations of the highland plateaus, it reminds us of the Scottish highlands or the Patagonia, with a clear crisp blue air and intense sunlight shining on the vast pastures. Titilaka is located on the western Peruvian coast of Lake Titicaca, amidst small hamlets of Quechua and Aymara cultures scattered around the lake or at the base of small hills to protect themselves from the high winds and strong sun.
