Morgan's Rock Hacienda & Ecolodge is more than just a hotel… it is a project of nature conservation, community development and reforestation offering Agro and Ecotourism at its best. The hacienda is located just north of San Juan del Sur, about a 45-minute drive from the Costa Rican border and two hours from the colonial city of Granada in southern Nicaragua. Endowed with a private, white-sand beach visited by sea turtles to lay their eggs, the hacienda also hosts its own primary tropical dry forest ecosystem.
Staying at Morgan's Rock is an out of the ordinary, authentic and unique experience. It will be most enjoyed by the open minded, experienced traveler with a strong interest in nature, ecology and foreign cultures. The Hacienda is located in a large protected nature reserve and enjoys the privacy of its own Pacific coast beach. After crossing a dramatic 100-meter suspension bridge that traverses a densely forested canyon lays the bungalow area. The bungalows have been cleverly placed over several hundred meters allowing for maximum privacy and peace. You should feel comfortable with staying in a remote location, where nature's abundance will become your best friend.
