Fez, Sahara and Marrakech

This tour is a spectacular option for a shorter trek from Fez to Marrakech via the Sahara Desert. This particular route allows you to depart Fez and venture through the Sahara Desert, and continue through the Dades Valley and Todra Gorge. It also allows you to enjoy the scenery of Skoura, known as the Valley of Kasbahs, along with Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate, until you cross over the High Atlas Mountains for a drop off in Marrakech.
Day 1 - Fez - Erfoud
You will depart from Fez around 9am and head for Ifrane before continuing onward through Midelt and onto Erfoud for the night. In Erfoud, you will stay in a beautiful boutique hotel. Total travel time today is 7 hours.

Day 2 - Erfoud - Ziz Valley - Sahara Desert
In the morning, our guide will take you to visit his small village in the Ziz (Tafilalet) Valley, Morocco's largest date-producing region. Before lunch at his family's home, you can enjoy a short walk through the date palms and farms. Afterward, it's off to Merzouga, the Erg Chebbi region of the Sahara Desert. Prepare for a memorable night under the stars and sleeping in a Bedouin-style tent. Total travel time today is 3 hours.

Day 3 - Rissani - Dades Valley
This morning, you'll be able to rise with the sunset to grab some photos before hopping back onto the camels for the short ride back to the hotel. You'll then head through Rissani, before continuing on the road to Tinjedad for lunch. En route to Skoura, you can choose to drive up into the Dades Valley. Total travel time today is 5 hours.

Day 4 - Dades Valley - Marrakech
After leaving Skoura, you can visit Ouarzazate and the Taorirt Kasbah once owned by the Glaouis family. You will also be stopping at the UNESCO world heritage site at Ait Ben Haddou. Then, you'll head over the Tiz n Tichka pass, which goes over the High Atlas Mountains and to Marrakech.
