All rates are in USD per room (based upon double occupancy), per night. Applicable 12% tax and 10% service fee are additional.
From January 1 to May 27, no children under 16 years of age are allowed on property. From May 28 to December 21, no children under 12 years of age are allowed on property. From December 22 to 31, no children under 16 years of age are allowed on property.
Restrictions for Holiday Period (December 21 to December 31, 2008):
Reservations will require a pre-payment of 50% of the entire stay refundable 45-days prior to arrival. Within 45-days, deposit is non-refundable.
Round-trip airport transfers: One round-trip per room is included in the room rate. This means that both guests need to arrive at the airport at the same time to take advantage of this inclusion. If the guests are arriving on different flights (one guest arriving later than the other regardless of it being the same day or different days) Maroma Resort and Spa is willing to provide, with at least 48 hours advance notice, an airport transfer for an additional service fee. Later arriving guests may also arrange their own airport transportation if they so choose, but will not be reimbursed by Maroma Resort and Spa. Remember flight information is essential to provide excellent service.
Early departures: If the length of stay is shortened on a reservation or an early departure is made within the cancellation period, the guest will be charged for the entire stay as confirmed 15 days prior to arrival.
Additional Charges: Government tax of 12% (government taxes subject to change) plus 10% service charge.
Minimum Stay Requirements 2008
January 1 - December 20: 3 nights on all arrivals, with the exception of Thursday, Friday and Saturday between January 1st and May 27th, 2008 that is outlined below.
January 1 - May 27: 5 nights all Thursday and Friday arrivals and Saturdays are closed to arrivals and closed to departures. This requirement supercedes the three night minimum noted above.
March 20 - 22: 5 night minimum March 20th and 21st, closed to "Easter 2008" arrival and closed to departure on March 22nd, 2008.
May 22 - 24: 5 night minimum May 22nd and 23rd, closed to "Memorial Day 2008" arrival and closed to departure on May 24th, 2008.
July 3 - 5: 5 night minimum July 3rd and 4th, closed to "Independence Day 2008" arrival and closed to departure on July 5th.
November 27 - 29: 5 night minimum November 27th and 28th, closed to arrivals "Thanksgiving 2008" and closed to departures on November 29th, 2008.

Arrivals will be allowed:
Christmas period. On December 21st for five (5) nights stay. From December 22 through December 25th, the hotel will be closed to arrivals and departures.
New Years Period: On December 26th for Eight (8) nights stay. From December 27 through January 2nd, 2009 the hotel will be closed to arrivals and departures.
Holiday period: On December 21st for eleven (11) nights stay. From December 22 through December 31st the hotel will be closed to arrivals and departures.
Cancellations must be received in writing 45 days prior to arrival; a 50% penalty of the total stay will be charge for cancellation with in the 45 days prior to arrival.
Reservations for this period are on request basis ONLY.
December 21-26, 2008: 5 nights for arrivals and stays through December 22 - 25, 2008.

Ready cash in Maroma: It is entirely unnecessary. We charge all the services to your Guest Bill at the Front Desk, which you can check at any time you wish.
Dress Code: We encourage you to dress up for dinner. Casual Attire is acceptable anywhere on the resort during the day. Just about anything goes. Swimsuits, shorts and t-shirts or polo shirts, slacks or jeans, sundresses or skirts and similar apparel recommended. Bathing suit cover-ups are required inside the dining room. For dinner (after 6:00 p.m. in the dining room) the dress code is "Smart Casual". No swimsuits, shorts, jeans, t-shirts, sneakers or beach sandals. Smart casual is dressy but informal, no jacket or tie required.
Do not forget to hold on to your tourist card (visa) given to you when you enter the country, as it must be returned to immigration officials when you leave the country.
