Adventure, Culture and an Experience of a lifetime. This is just a small portion of what you will enjoy when you visit Su Casa Colombia. They specialize in vacation customization by taking the guest's specific preferences and needs and molding them into a perfect and completely stress-free experience.
The owners Marcela and Noah don't want to treat you like just another passenger on a tour bus or just another guest in a hotel; They will host you in their very own home, treat you like family, and show you a side of Colombia you would never see as just another tourist. They accommodate everyone from individuals to families to large groups.
The accommodations and hospitality are integral parts of the Su Casa Colombia experience. The owners can’t claim to show guests the authentic side of Colombia if they send them off to a sterile hotel room every night. That’s why they host guests in their own home in Medellín and their family Finca in the countryside; both have all of the comforts one would expect in their own home. Some of the properties amenities include: Free breakfast, high speed internet, parking, pets allowed and wheel chair access.
The architecture and furniture are all traditional Colombian styles which adds to the authenticity of the experience. In the coastal region and the coffee region, they use a variety of traditional homes and apartments for rent that are ideal for the needs of guests. Unless specifically requested, none of the guests will ever stay in a generic, impersonal, hotel room. No matter where they take you in Colombia, you’ll always feel right at home.
When visiting Colombia, Marcela and Noah will help you avoid all of the pitfalls and frustrations of researching a vacation in a foreign county.
They only recommend and operate tours in areas they have experienced; therefore, they don’t offer activities in every part of this diverse country just yet.
They give unique, bi-lingual, and detailed tours of Medellín and the surrounding areas including cultural and history tours, exhilarating adventure tours at the Finca like: horse back riding, Waterfall Rappelling, Rock Climbing, Paragliding, Nature Hikes and Rafting. As well as tours showing pure Colombian Culture like the exotic fruit tasting tour, San Alejo market tour, Fernando Botero tour and Salsa dancing nights.
They offer their tours at a below market price because they really enjoy sharing their knowledge about the city they’ve come to love. Most of the city tours start at their Medellín bed & breakfast and depending on the route, you’ll be riding on the city’s spotless and 15-year old elevated light-rail train, one of the many public buses, or going by taxi. Noah and Marcela really encourage their guests to experience the real Colombia by using what the locals use.
