This fully customizable itinerary highlights Buenos Aires and the vineyards of Mendoza as well as the famous waterfalls in Iguazu. The adventure begins in Buenos Aires, where you will have an in depth tour of the city as well as some leisure time before you head to Mendoza, the beautiful wine lands at the base of the Andes which are home to the Malbec. Enjoy the wonders of Argentina's beautiful vineyards before you depart for Puerto Iguazu. Enjoy views of the majestic waterfalls from both the Argentine and Brazilian sides of the falls.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival In Buenos Aires

Welcome to Argentina! Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your accommodations to spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2 - Buenos Aires

Today you will get to explore Buenos Aires in a private 4 hour city tour. Discover the beauty and wonders of Buenos Aires; view the National Congress, the Metropolitan Cathedral next to the Government House in May square area. Continue to the Colon Theater, one of the most important opera houses in Latin America. Visit San Telmo, a traditional neighborhood where Tango performances can be seen in many bars and restaurants. Stop by in La Boca, a colorful neighborhood, which was the seat of immigrants, mainly Italians, and now home of some artists. Enjoy Palermo, an area that combines its architecture and history with entertainment and amusement in its green spaces. Finally head to La Recoleta, an exclusive and elegant neighborhood where the famous cemetery is found. Although it may seem unusual, fashionable restaurants, bars, cafes, discos and a cinema complex also surround the area.

This evening, enjoy a tango show while enjoying an authentic Argentine dinner. El Querandi is an authentic Tangueria which combines the cultural aspects of local cuisine with the most authentic Argentine artistic expression, the Tango. (Shared transfer to/from show).

Day 3 - Buenos Aires

Today you will have a day at leisure in Buenos Aires. We recommend a full day Gaucho Party (more information available upon request).

Day 4 - Buenos Aires - Mendoza

Today you will be picked up by private transport and transferred to the domestic airport to board your flight to Mendoza (not included). Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your accommodations to spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 5 - Mendoza Wine Tour

Mendoza is the largest wine producer in South America and is world renowned for its Malbec. The area is home to countless wineries and your tour will head to different vineyards located in the center and west side of Mendoza. The prestigious vineyards are located in the district of Godoy Cruz, Guaymallén, Luján de Cuyo and Maipú. Enjoy touring the region before enjoying a delicious lunch at La Agricoa Winery.

Spend the evening at the Club Tapiz Hotel located on the foothills of the Andes beside Mendoza’s Vineyards.

Day 6 - Vineyards - Mendoza

Today you will return to the city center of Mendoza to check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 7 - Mendoza – Buenos Aires – Puerto Iguazu

Today you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight to Puerto Iguazu via Buenos Aires. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your accommodations to spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 8 - Iguazu Falls: Argentinean Side

Today you will explore the 275 cascades from the Argentine side of the falls. There are countless footbridges and paths that will allow you to view the falls from many different perspectives. The tour starts at the Visitor’s Center and follows the Superior Circuit giving you a panoramic view of the water falls. Continue onto the Lower Circuit and walk the 1,000 meter footbridge to view the impressive Garganta de Diablo. The tour will include a ride on the Ecological Train of the Jungle and a visit to the Nature Interpretation Center.

Day 9 - Iguazu Falls – Brazilian Side – Buenos Aires

Today you will briefly head into Brazil to view the falls from the opposite side as the day before. The tour begins at the Visitors Center where thematic buses will take you to the beginning of the footbridges. Wander through the many walkways and balconies until you reach Puerto Canoas, a food and shopping area.

When the tour is done, you will be picked up and transferred to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. After checking in, you will have the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 10 - Buenos Aires Departure

Sadly this is your last day in Argentina. You will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to the international airport for your outbound flight home.

Club Tapiz Hotel

Club Tapiz is located in an estate built in 1890 surrounded by 22 acres of vineyards. The house was restored preserving it´s structure of Renaissance-style Villa, maintaining vintage elements, such as the patio and pinewood floors, the connection with its surroundings and enthralling views of the Andes make this place a unique place to stay. Club Tapiz was declared Historical, Architectural and Tourist Heritage of the Region.

Alongside the building is the Old winery with its big French oak casks in use until 2002 and a new Chamber “Pour Le Galerie” for holding different events, with an incredible Mural of 22 x 4 meters painted by the famous local artist Sergio Roggerone. This area can cater events up to 200 people, with its own tasting room and a remuage room for our sparkling wine . In the back part of this enchanting building another surprise is in store, an extra virgin Olive Oil production area equipped with the latest technology open to visitors all year long, where different olive oil varietals can be tasted.
